Response to Monday’s “Will to Kill” post
Dear Dr. Piazza,
I was a professional baseball player for 6 years. In addition to your offer to train Donna in hand gun/ edged weapon, etc, I would be happy to give her some hitting lessons! Shouldn’t have taken more than 1-2 swings before he was knocked out.
Thanks for sharing this story, and I hope they will take you up on the offer to train them in real self defense, with a hand gun.
Sincerely,
Scott Robinson

The Will to Kill: A Study in the Mindset of Violence
Here is everybody’s worst nightmare. You awake to a strange man in your bedroom who is armed with a gun and baseball bat. He has also brought with him a knife, white nylon rope, black duct tape, and nylon zip ties. He orders you and your wife out of bed. As you stand with your wife, unarmed and naked, the stranger orders you to lay on the floor…
What should you do?
Read this news account of exactly what happened to Roger and Donna Angevine. Then I will discuss the most important ability you must possess when faced with violent…

From the Mailbag
Dr.Piazza;I look forward to each gun training report you send to me and I have a special folder that I keep all of them in, in case I want to go back and check something out. I have emailed you several times and you have answered each of them quite graciously.
I wanted to let you know that I always refer my friends, and any acquaintances that I’ve had discussions with, to your web-site, and the practical and professional way that you offer in order to teach gun owners all they need to know in order to defend themselves…

Gun Training Report #18 is Right On
Dr. Piazza,
Again your FrontSight newsletter (#18) is right-on. While the .45 ACP has proven to be the most practical, man-stopping, handgun cartridge available, it pales in effectiveness to the 12 GA. shotgun and most rifle cartridges. I carried a .45 cal 1911 for most of my 20 yr. law enforcement career, but my mind set was to use it only when I couldn’t get to my shotgun. One of the serious flaws, in many departments, is the lack of emphasis on shotgun and rifle training. Typically handgun to long gun training is 10 to 1 in frequency and few departments…

Take a Proactive Stance on Gun Rights
Dr. Piazza,
I want to tell you how impressed I am with your gesture of helping us have a secure, safe place to worship and take fellowship. I have just signed up for your daily messages and “draw” a lot of good information from them. I can’t wait to come see your facility and participate in some/all of your courses. You are doing a great thing and helping many people, along with our 2nd Amendment rights. I am looking forward to meeting you and shaking your hand. Thanks for all you do!
Eric B.

Finally, A Public School District Gets It Right!
The day after Columbine, I was the first to demand that school teachers be armed and trained. I backed up my demand by offering to train up to three school teachers from every school in America if their respective school districts would designate three of their teachers as School Safety Monitors and allow them to carry a concealed handgun as the first line of defense against school attacks.
Here is the original story that appeared about my offer in WorldNetDaily and numerous other main stream media sources.

In every public school there were teachers - some with previous military backgrounds -…

Response to Free DVD
Dear Dr. Piazza,
I received your free DVD in the mail and just sat down and watched it. In fact, it excited me so much that I have watched it three times, twice with my kids and once alone. I plan to watch it with my wife when we can get an hour and a half of free time together.
Dr. Piazza, your strategy of a pro-active approach rather than continuing the downward spiral of a defensive approach to winning the Second Amendment war is simply brilliant. Your treatment of the media by making them attend a course as a…

Response to Monday Blog Posts…
Dr. Piazza,
This stuff is invaluable!
There are no better lessons than from the simple facts from real incidents.
Equipment, accuracy, training and practice, training and practice.
Having a piano doesn’t make you a musician.
Thanks!

From The Mailbag…
Dear Dr Piazza,
I feel compelled to write to congratulate you on not only your impressive company but also your obvious knowledge, patriotism and attitude towards firearms and self-defense.
I am a recent arrival in the USA, having married a Californian and moving here from my native United Kingdom two years ago. At 38 years of age I am in the fortunate position of ‘re-starting’ my life, with the sale of my company in the UK and moving to the sun (although the weather does take some getting used to compared to England!). My ‘past life’ included a period in…
